Introduction to the work
This work combines the imagery of spring scenery with splash painting, depicting a exquisitely beautiful painting of early spring, where everything
recovers after the melting of ice and snow. The work is divided into three main sections, in chronological order, depicting the changes of spring from stillness and mistiness to vitality, and then to lively dance like activity, gradually changing from static to dynamic. The core materials are the three tone group of pentatonic scale "Shang-Zhi-Jue" (D-G-E) and the four tone group "Shang-Yu-Zhi-Jue" (D-A-G-E), and the use of techniques such as polytonality and pantonality enhances the richness of harmony colors and the contrast of tension, including the collision of harmonious and dissonant chords, as well as a large number of explosive sounds, making the music dramatic and not losing the beauty of traditional Chinese elements.
