Introduction to the work
The inspiration of this work is from one of composer’s travel experience in Venice in February 2018: At One gloomy night, the composer was floating on the canal in a local boat called a gondola. She felt the coldness of the whole world. It was unsearchable, archaic, dim, prosperous and dreamily.
Landscapes were quieting unsteadily, lights were bright-colored, gorgeous, and even multicolored. It looked like so many erose-black ambulatory mirrors, each of which penetrated though the islets, broke up the area, moved the buildings and created oil pantings on the water. In the meantime, the composer heard a beautiful soprano singing a romantic melody, subtly melancholic with a timbral twilight. Her voice was accompanied by the sound of water, the waves, the lights......the composer was destined to be enraptured by her beautiful voice......
